Important Notice: Job candidates should be aware that scammers may pose as employers and create fake job postings to extract personal information for financial gain. Housing Works will never ask for personal details such as social security numbers or bank account information over the phone. If you suspect a job posting is fake or want to verify a genuine posting, please contact us at recruitment@housingworks.org.

Founded in 1990, Housing Works has a long-standing commitment to AIDS advocacy. We established New York State’s first harm reduction-based, OASAS-licensed outpatient drug treatment program. Our services also include Health Home care management, behavioral health, and syringe exchange programs. As a social entrepreneurship pioneer, we operate 10 high-end thrift shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and a beloved Bookstore Cafe in Soho. Visit www.housingworks.org for more information.

Housing Works advocates for funding and legislation to ensure all people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, among other lifesaving services.

Benefits

We offer three comprehensive healthcare plans to suit different priorities and budgets, with Housing Works covering most costs. Staff begin accruing PTO immediately, earning up to 30 days in the first year. We also provide an educational benefit for tuition reimbursement, costs, and textbooks.
