Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking an Operations Trainer at our Fort Worth distribution center to deliver hands-on training, serve as SME on SOPs, and support onboarding, quality, safety, and security initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and help drive the site training strategy while meeting attendance, maintaining records, and promoting a safe work environment.

The role requires strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, and a High School Diploma or GED; Associate

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Basic clerical, data entry, and mathematical skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on training to new and existing associates on SOPs and operational procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned operational areas.
  • Conduct on-the-job training, coaching, and employee development activities.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Partner with the Quality & Continuous Improvement team to promote quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform productivity-related tasks to support operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations Training Specialists, Industrial Engineers, Logistics Center Directors, Auditors, and Quality teams to review new and existing SOPs.
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, performance metrics, and skills assessments.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Job description

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM

The Operations Trainer provides process-related training to new and current distribution center associates. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports quality, safety, and security initiatives through training, auditing, and employee onboarding. The Operations Trainer partners closely with the Operations Training Specialist to execute the site's overall training strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned operational areas.
  • Conduct on‑the‑job training, coaching, and employee development activities.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Partner with the Quality & Continuous Improvement team to promote quality, safety, and security standards.

  • Previous training, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
