Job summary

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Process Technology Manager to drive process performance, capability and technology optimization across the manufacturing site. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Innovation and CI teams to strengthen capability, improve quality, reduce variability and promote a data-driven culture.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 10+ years in continuous manufacturing, leadership of process engineering teams, and proficiency with SAP, MES and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process, Chemical, Food, Mechanical, or Biochemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in continuous process manufacturing with 5+ years in process engineering or operational excellence.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (food, chemical, pharma) is required.
• Proven ability to implement SPC, Cp/Cpk, DOE, and statistical process management.
• Strong root cause, OEE improvement, yield optimization, and data analytics skills.
• Proficiency with SAP, MES, CMMS, scheduling tools, and Power BI.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Lead site accountability for process performance and improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Establish SOPs and process capability monitoring systems for consistent execution.
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day support to manufacturing teams.
• Implement SPC methodologies and data-driven control systems to reduce variation.
• Oversee optimization of processes to improve quality, efficiency, yield, OEE.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D and Innovation for NPI and technology transfers.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, root causes and opportunities.
• Coach Process Engineers and build process ownership and capability.
