Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Process Technician in Medina, OH to operate extrusion and blow-m molding machines, monitor settings, and ensure quality. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform basic maintenance, and collaborate with peers on improvements. Training and development are offered as part of the role.

The position is direct-hire with day-1 benefits, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and life insurance. Shifts include 1st and 2nd with competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to fix, adjust and troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines and equipment.
• Monitor and adjust production machine settings (heat, cooling, hydraulic pressure).
• Troubleshoot machines and perform basic maintenance.
• Check product quality to meet specifications (weights, dimensions).
• Collaborate with teammates to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Learn new skills through hands-on training and career development.
