Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking a manufacturing associate in Ohio ready to operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines. You will adjust settings, troubleshoot equipment, and perform basic maintenance to keep lines up and running.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience and basic hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge. You will be part of a team, receive structured training, and have opportunities to advance within Plastipak Academy courses.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • A knack for working with your hands and solving mechanical problems.
  • Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems helps too.

Responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion and blow-m molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly.
  • Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure, as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and handle basic maintenance tasks.
  • Check product quality to ensure everything meets customer standards.
  • Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Keep learning and growing with on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.
