Plastipak is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Medina, Ohio to perform and improve maintenance on blow molding and injection molding equipment, ensuring reliable, efficient manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and hands-on training opportunities for ongoing skill development.

You will work on various shifts with premium pay for technical expertise, and you’ll be part of a team that values long-term stability and a strong safety culture in a well-established company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Preferred experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer, and Airveyor equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems with proven troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on blow molding and injection molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations.
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in equipment changeovers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Expand technical expertise through formal training and hands-on experience, including new equipment installations and modification projects.

As a Plastipak Maintenance Technician , you will perform, monitor, and continuously improve preventative maintenance programs while supporting reliable, efficient manufacturing operations. Location: Medina, OH
Pay: $25/hour and up , based on experience

You Will:

• Perform maintenance on blow molding and injection molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations

You Have:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment
• Preferred experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer, and Airveyor equipment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems , with proven troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet , with or without reasonable accommodation
