Job summary

Simple Staffing Inc. is hiring on behalf of Plastipak Packaging for a Process Technician role in a high-volume plastics environment. You will operate extrusion and blow-molding machines, adjust settings, troubleshoot issues, and ensure bottle weights and dimensions meet specs.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 12-hour day/night schedules with hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $22.50. Benefits begin after day 61, with health, 401(k), PTO and dental coverage options.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume environment.
• Mechanical inclination; able to fix things and use basic hand tools.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines and equipment.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings (heat, water cooling, hydraulic pressure) to keep production running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot machines and perform basic maintenance.
• Check product quality to meet customer specifications (weights, dimensions).
• Collaborate with coworkers to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Learn new skills through hands-on training and career development opportunities.
