Job summary

Perdue Foods seeks a Process Technician I to join our production team and keep warehouse operations running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you’ll set up, monitor, and adjust automated equipment while performing routine maintenance to help maximize efficiency and performance.

This position has a base rate of $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Qualifications

• Read/write English, math, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate multiple systems and equipment in production areas.
• Read, write, and understand basic instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operates, inspects, changes over and tears down equipment for proper operation.
• Perform quality and productivity checks under supervision.
• Assist in equipment modifications or rebuilds for production needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and measurements.
• Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Replace consumable parts found during PM tasks or production runs.
• Report equipment issues to management and create service requests.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and training given.
• Assist in CI projects, maintenance repairs, and related activities.
• Weekend work will be required.
