Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a production operator to set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to maximize productivity on the shop floor.

You will perform audits for safety and quality, troubleshoot equipment, adjust parameters, and record data while collaborating with teammates to improve efficiency.

The role requires basic reading of technical documents, data entry skills, and a strong focus on detail and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy‑weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
