An established industry player is seeking a dedicated technical support specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, providing essential support to operators, sales, and engineering teams. Fast-paced and rapidly changing, Northwire designs and manufactures custom, made-to-order products for a diverse range of industries. Successful TEAM members will need to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, a positive attitude and exacting attention to detail. This position provides technical support for operators, sales and engineering on machine, equipment, and material processing.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Working Conditions:
Working within an air-conditioned production/manufacturing environment. Walking surfaces are cement flooring with anti-fatigue mats. Must be able to work in a standard office environment with shared desk areas, seated for extended periods of time. PPE required: Steel toe shoes and safety glasses.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, walk, and bend. Must be able to work onsite.
Expected Hours of Work:
Flexible schedule and willingness to work extended hours as needed to complete work as required. Must be able to work overtime as required.
Travel:
Minimal travel may be expected for this position.
Relocation:
None required.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Technical degree preferred. 5 years manufacturing experience preferred. Wire and cable manufacturing experience desired. Training in problem solving skills (PDCA).
