Job summary

Inova Staffing Services is seeking a Process Tech for a client in Wooster, OH to operate and maintain injection molding equipment on 2nd shift (2:45 pm–10:45 pm). This temp-to-hire role pays $20–$22 per hour, with weekends as needed.

You will set up machines, monitor and adjust processes, inspect parts, perform basic maintenance, and document parameters. A high school diploma and hands-on molding experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
• Experience as Injection Molding Process Technician or similar.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding materials and tooling.
• Ability to set up and operate machines and auxiliaries.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Inova Staffing Services is looking for a temp-to-hire Process Tech for one of our clients in Wooster, OH.

Compensation & Hours:2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2: 45pm-10: 45pm$20-22/hr (Based on experience)Weekends as needed

Typical Job Duties:

• Machine Setup: Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and ensure proper functioning of auxiliary equipment.
• Process Monitoring: Continuously observe machine operation, monitor part quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve processing issues such as defects, inconsistencies, and machine malfunctions.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects, measure dimensions, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment, and report any major repairs needed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production data, and maintenance activities.
• Safety: Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field are a plus.
• Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials (thermoplastics), and tooling.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Scientific molding principles and techniques is preferred.
• Experience with automation and robotics in Injection mold is a Plus.
• Knowledge of Single stage and Two stage blow molding is an added advantage.
