Job summary

GOJO Industries in Wooster, OH is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician for the 3rd shift (10:45 pm–6:45 am, Sunday–Thursday). This on-site role requires operating and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts, with travel between Northeast Ohio campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree are a plus.
• 1-2 years' proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials (thermoplastics), and tooling.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Scientific molding principles and techniques is preferred.
• Experience with automation and robotics in Injection mold is a Plus.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time).
• Process Monitoring: Observe machine operation and part quality.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve defects and machine issues.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts and measure dimensions.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Documentation: Keep records of process parameters and data.
• Safety: Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean.
