Job Overview

As a Process Technician, you will optimize production processes and ensure products meet the highest quality standards. You will monitor and troubleshoot machinery, adjust parameters, perform routine maintenance and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and start injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and related processes.
• Perform mold changes and machine setups according to production schedules.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
• Document process changes, maintenance activities, and production data accurately.
• Train and mentor new team members on operational procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality control teams to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, including part defects and machine malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and plant safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in plastics, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in injection molding operations.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines and equipment.
• Familiarity with various plastic resins and their processing characteristics.
• Experience with scientific molding principles is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of mold setup and maintenance procedures.
• Understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
