Job Objective: Maintain and develop processes to increase machine efficiencies and improve profits for Lyons Blow Molding. Responsible for providing the overall process design and measures for improvement of manufacturing, thereby increasing productivity and reducing manufacturing costs. Duties include maintaining and repairing process equipment, testing materials and products for quality, and monitoring production processes for improvements.

Job Description: Assist the Technical Manager to ensure adherence to the Preventive Maintenance Program. Support the Plant Engineer with New Product Qualification efforts, focusing on maintenance versus process engineering. Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to implement new systems and processes to reduce non-conforming products. Provide input on new jobs and mold setups. Track and measure production improvement processes with the Plant Engineer. Implement continuous improvements in the Machine Shop for mold performance. Demonstrate process technician competency through necessary training. Perform production duties such as machine troubleshooting and job change-overs. Support machine enclosure projects and assist in daily variable studies and process improvements. Participate in maintenance coverage and plant-wide conveyor analysis. Monitor budget, quality, and safety to meet targets. Review KPIs monthly with the LBM team. Assist in training Operators and Machine Tenders.

Relationships and Roles: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel, support departments, and management. Uphold a strong work ethic to ensure high customer satisfaction and competitive positioning.
