Job summary

RPM SPG in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Direct Labor associate responsible for mixing and packaging in-process and finished goods inventory. You will stage raw materials, maintain cleanliness, and operate packaging equipment efficiently while observing safety protocols.

Responsibilities include communicating low material levels to supervision, tracking batch processes, and assisting with hazardous waste handling as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required; chemistry coursework is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass standard eye examination and color-tone testing.
• Ability to wear respirators and PPE as required.
• Able to lift 25–70 lbs and work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare all raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas.
• Communicate low material levels to supervisory staff.
• Develop working knowledge of batch making and packaging processes.
• Operate packaging equipment and make batches efficiently.
• Capable of handling scanner and basic computer operations.
• Assist in downtime by training or operating on other lines.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling under supervision.
