Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho invites you to join its Registered Apprenticeship Program as a Process Technician Apprentice. Earn while you learn, complete the SMT Certificate and an AAS degree through CWI, and gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge semiconductor fab.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes, support safety and continuous improvement, and prepare for long-term career growth within Micron.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to enroll in SMT Certificate and STEM-focused AAS through CWI as part of the apprenticeship.
• Basic to intermediate PC skills (MS Office, Teams, Zoom).
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, while balancing coursework.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production, engineering, and technician teams to support daily fab operations.
• Monitor process performance, identify issues, and support operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and support resolution efforts.
• Collect, analyze, and document process data to support operational decision-making.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate updates clearly.
• Complete required safety training and follow all safety protocols.
• Support continuous improvement efforts across the fab.
• Leverage AI and other digital tools to support learning and data analysis.
