Job summary

MPP in Saint Marys, PA seeks an experienced Die Setter to support a powder metal manufacturing plant. The role focuses on training, setting up dies, and contributing to continuous improvement and new process development.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and at least 5 years as a Class “AA” Die Setter, with experience on Cincinnati Rigid Reflex and Gasbarre presses, plus multi-action/hydraulic presses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 5+ years as Die Setter (Class AA).
• Experience with Cincinnati Rigid Reflex controls preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Train Die Setters (molding and sizing).
• Develop robust processing techniques to reduce scrap and improve throughput.
• Assist in product redesign to resolve production issues.
• Participate in development of new processes or applications.
• Provide tooling support for dies and presses.
• Assist in New Product Development initiatives.

SUMMARY

The successful applicant will support and help improve ongoing business activities in a powder metal manufacturing plant. This function will also be a key participant in development of new process or applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Training of Die Setters (molding and sizing)
• Help develop robust processing techniques that reduce scrap or improve throughput
• Assist in product redesign to resolve product or production difficulties.
• Participate in development of new processes or applications.
• Tooling Support
• New Product Development
• Troubleshooting and Equipment Specifications
• Support Continuous Improvement Projects
• Limited travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Cincinnati Rigid Reflex
• Gasbarre Press experience
• Experience with multi-action and hydraulic presses.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
