Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Process Technician to supervise shifts and help run extrusion lines, ensuring products meet specifications and production operates smoothly.

The role includes embossing setup, line start/stop, maintenance, color testing, and coordination with Material handler to align with the production schedule. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of line Operator, Lead Operator and Process Technician tests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Responsibilities

• Implement production schedule for product specifications such as dimensions, colors, and profile
• Start and shutdown production lines
• Pull and clean co-extruder screws
• Set and update extruder settings
• Setup embossers
• Assure scheduled line maintenance is completed
• Adjust water bath settings
• Conducts advanced troubleshooting
• Changes and clean vents
• Perform changeover tasks according to production schedule
• Performs board quality control checks
• Perform color testing
• Conducts trials
• Conduct Line Operator and Lead Operator skill evaluations
• Communicates supply needs to Material handler
• Follows all policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

The process technicianwill oversee the shift schedule and assist in running extrusion lines.

Job Responsibilities
