Job summary

Monoflo International, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician responsible for daily operation of injection molding machines and automation cells, including robots and auxiliary equipment.

You will troubleshoot defects, optimize mold-to-machine-to-material interactions, and support process improvements with a focus on root cause analysis. Responsibilities include machine startup across a wide tonnage range, programming robots, conducting quality audits, and training shift staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in plastic injection molding
• Experience with robots and automation desirable
• Experience with Engel, JSW, United Silicone, TCU’s, and utility systems is highly desirable
• Highly responsible and reliable with self-initiative
• Flexible and adaptable to priority changes
• Demonstrates problem solving skills with the focus on root cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Startup injection molding machines (180T–1100T)
• Startup automation cells including Fanuc robots and assembly equipment
• Program robots to pick parts and place on conveyors
• Set up auxiliary equipment (temperature controllers, heaters, blenders, hot stamp)
• Perform advanced plastic process troubleshooting for defects
• Audit process parameter logs; identify trends and molding performance concerns
• Conduct quality audits of finished goods at time of molding
• Train Supervisors and Cell Technicians on shift to improve process skills

DescriptionThe Process Technician is the primary owner for the daily operation of injection molding machines, automation cells, robots, auxiliary equipment, and standard operating processes.
