Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a hands-on technician for the R&D Crystal Growth group. You will perform technical tests, set up processing equipment, monitor runs, and provide engineering support. Experience in crystal growth is preferred.

You will routinely load/unload equipment, assist scientists with measurements and work to support ongoing R&D projects, and prepare parts and disposition crystals after runs. Collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running and troubleshooting manufacturing tools preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and running non-standard processing alongside peers.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineers, scientists, and equipment and process personnel within the Materials Crystal Growth team

Responsibilities

• Routine loading and unloading of the equipment used in Crystal Growth.

Position Summary:

This position entails performing technical tests and experiments within the R&D Crystal Growth group. It also entails preparing and setting up of the processing equipment as well as monitoring and processing test runs. This position will also provide technical assistance to engineers and scientists working in the area. Experience in crystal growth is preferred.
