Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Process Technician for a manufacturing client in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on supporting process engineering and production operations to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvement, and help sustain lean initiatives. A technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with CAD and MS Office skills benefiting daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Self-directed professional with ownership and accountability.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and blueprint reading is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support process engineering and production operations to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
  • Assist in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen events to sustain gains.
  • Collect and maintain data on equipment, capacity, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to cost and scrap analyses and development of manufacturing methods.

Process Technician- $32-$36/hr DOE!This position is a direct hire opportunity!Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Process Technicianfor our manufacturingclient to start immediatelyat $32-$36/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our clientupon hire!Responsibilities:The **Process Technician **supports process engineering and production operations by improving safety, quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance. This role partners with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot production issues, support continuous-improvement efforts, and help maintain effective communication across manufacturing work areas.Investigate and support process-improvement opportunities focused on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and lowering defect rates.Provide engineering and technical support to manufacturing work centers as needed.Collect and maintain information related to equipment maintenance, equipment history, production capacity, and process-improvement initiatives.Assist in developing and evaluating manufacturing methods, labor-utilization standards, and cost and scrap-analysis systems.Participate in lean manufacturing activities and improvement events, helping implement changes and ensure improvements are sustained.Support quality-control objectives and corrective actions to resolve production concerns, improve product reliability, and reduce operating costs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Kaizen initiatives, including identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, tracking progress, and reporting results.Review production schedules, engineering documentation, specifications, work orders, and related materials to understand manufacturing methods and procedures.Evaluate technical requirements and cost-related factors associated with process and product design objectives.Perform additional duties as assigned.Location: Grand Rapids, MI**Schedule/Shift Details: **Openings on 1st and 2nd shifts!1st Shift: 5AM-3:30PM2nd Shift: 3:30PM-4AM - Overtime as needed.Qualifications:Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, relevant coursework in an engineering or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Self-directed, motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production techniques, CAD software, and blueprint reading.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Comfortable using computers and standard office software in a manufacturing environment.Preferred Skills and ExperienceStrong attention to detail and consistent commitment to quality.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize based on operational needs.Ability to identify problems, gather and interpret data, establish facts, and develop practical conclusions.Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while working under deadlines and changing priorities with limited supervision.Ability to follow established procedures, take direction, and contribute effectively within a team environment.Familiarity with common material-handling methods and equipment.Benefits:- MedicalDentalVisionPTO401kWhy choose Integrity Trade Services?At ITS, we offer our employees a competitive salary paid weekly and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Interested?
