This strong foundation has created an environment where our employees are seen as members of our family and are given the tools and resources to succeed, both personally and professionally.**Job Summary** ### Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.### Functions* Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment* Provide emergency repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service* Perform maintenance duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines* Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities* Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service* Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments* Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities* Continually inspect the manufacturing area for mechanical & electrical issues* Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties* Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision* Anticipate snow removal and salting, along with grounds maintenance as required.* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas* Interact with contractors and provide guidance on projects/repairs* Able to work in a team environment* Able to work independently and provide some guidance to other technicians.### Pay$27. 24 - 30.31 per hour + Shift Premium $4.00### Hours:### 2nd shift - 1:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday to Thursday or Tuesday - Friday rotating quarterly### QualificationsEducation* High School Diploma or equivalent required* Technical degree in Industrial Technology or related field required, related experience consideredCertifications/Licenses* Valid Driver’s License requiredExperience* 3-5 years of experience* Experience in mechanical repairs including drives, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics* Experience with building systems and basic utility repairs* Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairs* Experience in function of maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferredSpecialized Knowledge & Skills* Ability to work independently and provide some guidance to other technicians* Knowledge of low and high-pressure hydraulics* Knowledge and understanding of pneumatics* Knowledge of mechanical repairs, drives, and motors* Knowledge of industrial PLC’s desirable* Skills in electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and safety* Knowledge of HVAC or refrigeration systems* Fabrication experience (i.e. Welding, Milling and Turning etc.)* Experience with CMMS systems a plus* Proficient computer knowledge in Microsoft Office* Good documentation and organizational skills* Service-oriented team player who has a positive can do attitude; is flexible, responsive, proactive, and self-motivated* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in order to meet deadlinesNecessary Competencies* Adaptability/Flexibility* Interpersonal* Analytical/Detail-Oriented* Customer Focus* Communication (verbal and written)* Decisiveness/Decision Making Skills* Problem Solving* Quality* Safety/Security* Planning/Organizing* Initiative* Ethics/Integrity**Responsibilities****Benefits Package**We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefit package, which includes:* Competitive salary and annual incentive program* Comprehensive health care and flexible benefit plan, including pet insurance* Company-matched 401(k) plan* Profit sharing plan* On-site childcare with highly accredited curriculum (Palmyra, WI)* Platinum WELCOA award-winning wellness program, including: + On-site 24x7 fitness center (Palmyra, WI) + Whole food court (Palmyra, WI) + On-site chiropractic care + On-site massage therapist + Personal trainer + Daily fitness classes + On-site life coach + $450 monthly Standard Process supplement allowance* Paid vacation and holiday time* Educational assistance* Company hosted outings and events* Strong community involvement**Apply today and become part of the Standard Process family!** This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
