Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced molding technician to support plant production and quality assurance. The role focuses on maximizing machine performance, safety, and quality through efficient setup and proactive maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of molding processes, equipment, materials, and tooling, with strong problem-solving and reading of mold prints. Fluency in English and teamwork are essential in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the molding process, molding equipment, molding materials and mold tooling.
• Ability to react to situations in a timely manner and be flexible with people and operational assets.
• Troubleshoot operating and related process equipment and recommend solutions.
• Evaluate design proposals and implementation.
• Maintain process documentation.
• Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and material specifications.
• Be able to read mold prints.
• Be creative, organized self-starter that can work with little or no supervision.
• Requires good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a cooperative environment.
• Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work alone, or in a team environment with limited supervision.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write and communicate.
• Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
