Shift and Compensation

• Compensation: $52,000 - $62,400 USD

Job Duties

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Has experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Works on Van Dorn, Cincinnati, and HPM injection mold machines.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment and grounds.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
• Requires minimum 5 years of injection mold machine experience.
• Skilled in troubleshooting industrial motors, starters, controls, and panels.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience and education.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and scissor lift, with certification.
