Salcomp in Arlington, TX is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support daily production operations, assist with assembly tasks, and help ensure stable, efficient manufacturing performance.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and production teams to maintain jigs and fixtures, troubleshoot process issues, and support new product introductions while following ESD, PPE, and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic mechanical assembly knowledge is required.
  • Familiarity with jigs and fixtures used in production environments.
  • 2–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks according to work instructions and process guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain production jigs and fixtures; assist in troubleshooting and adjustments to support smooth production.
  • Support manufacturing engineers in process setup, line qualification, and daily process monitoring.
  • Conduct basic equipment checks and communicate abnormal conditions to engineers or supervisors.
  • Prepare, organize, and update production-related documentation when needed.
  • Assist with handling materials, components, and tooling used in production processes.
  • Support continuous improvement activities related to quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Follow ESD, safety, and facility rules to maintain a clean and controlled work environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Process Technician to support daily production operations, assist with assembly processes, and ensure stable and efficient manufacturing performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and production teams to maintain jigs/fixtures, troubleshoot process issues, and support new product and equipment introduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electronics manufacturing facility; may require standing for extended periods.
  • Regular interaction with machinery, tools, and delicate electronic components.
  • Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to ESD protocols
