  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and methodologies including SPC and DOE.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, ERP/MES systems, and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and control plans.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies (PCBs, SMT, THT, reflow, cleanroom).
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement process controls and quality standards (IPC, ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Collaborate with design, quality, maintenance, and production on NPI.
  • Develop work instructions, process docs, and training materials.
  • Specify, evaluate, and validate equipment, tooling, and materials.
  • Conduct failure analysis and support CAPA.
  • Support continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with ESD, RoHS, and customer requirements.

Job Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes within the production environment. This role develops, analyzes, and improves production processes for electronic components and assemblies to ensure product quality, yield, and operational efficiency. The Process Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, troubleshoot process issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies including PCBs, SMT, THT, reflow soldering, or cleanroom assembly processes.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
