MMI Engineered Solutions, a leader in plastic injection molding, is currently seeking an experienced Process Technician.

Located in Saline, Michigan, MMI Engineered Solutions is an established but growing enterprise providing world-class engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. We engineer innovative ideas for today's complex design and manufacturing issues.

This position reports to the Plant Manager and is a vital part of the injection molding team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of successful injection mold processing experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include analyzing, improving, and adjusting molding machine processes to maximize cost, quality, and throughput by establishing process control guidelines. Candidates must be knowledgeable in troubleshooting molding processes to maintain consistent quality output.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on processing and troubleshooting injection molding equipment
• Experience with mold design best practices
• Large part injection molding experience preferred
• Light maintenance experience required
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
• Proficiency in computer use and typing; experience with Microsoft Suite a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 15 ft., and stand/walk during shifts
• Professional and respectful interaction with clients and coworkers
• Overtime and rotating shifts as applicable
