Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to support the manufacture of complex hybrid microelectronics. This hands-on in-office role focuses on establishing new processes, improving current processes, and supporting operations across bonding, sealing, screening, and testing.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure goals are met and comply with industry standards. The position requires hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related technical discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing including manual/automated semiconductor module assembly, wirebonding, die attach, hermetic sealing, lead forming, SMT
• Understanding MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534 and related standards preferred
• Experience in highly controlled medical/defense manufacturing preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and read equipment/process docs
• Strong microscope work capability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Minitab and CAD tools

Responsibilities

• Establish new processes and improve current processes across manufacturing
• Support operations competency across hand assembly, hermetic sealing, environmental screening
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and management to meet goals
• Learn and become proficient with automated and manual equipment across multiple processes
