Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in CI programs and leading Lean initiatives.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & drive the BPM strategy and change management framework for process improvement.
  • Establish and communicate the BPM vision, providing strategic direction and leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver sustainable change by focusing on strategic business priorities to maximise business and commercial value.
  • Lead and drive large business transformations.
  • Empower internal teams to create sustainable capability and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster a continual process improvement culture and build training for culture using CI methodologies.
  • Identify end-to-end improvement opportunities and design new processes that create value in customer service and performance.
  • Assist in design of innovative solutions to improve financial and service delivery performance.
  • Assess performance and remove barriers to achieve goals.
  • Maintain relationships with Leadership to drive buy-in and transparency.
  • Provide training and CI guidance across the organization.
  • Drive data-driven decisions and report lean initiatives and cost savings to senior management.
  • Document lean processes and communicate progress using visual management tools.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Process Manager (BPM) will play a critical role in driving lean methodologies and practices across the PHCS business processes. This position works with various members of the leadership team to institutionalize continuous improvement (CI) practices within the entire organization. This position will represent PHCS to serve as a champion/role model for change. This position will identify projects, lessons learned, or best practices that can be replicated for deployment in all areas. This position will focus on training stakeholders, implementing lean principles, enhancing operational efficiency, and realizing cost reductions. This role demands a proactive influencer who can inspire a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop & drive the BPM strategy and change management framework for process improvement
  • Establish and communicate the BPM vision, providing strategic direction and leadership to drive continuous improvement in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Deliver sustainable change by focusing on strategic business priorities to maximise business and commercial value
  • Lead and drive large business transformations
  • Empower and upskill internal teams to create sustainable capability, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement as part of new and improved ways of working
  • Foster a continual process improvement culture throughout the organisation and serve as a champion/role model for change. Build and train culture using continuous improvement methodology.
  • Identify end to end process improvement opportunities and facilitate the design of new processes that creates the greatest value for the organization in terms of customer service, performance excellence, accountability and compliance. Build capabilities throughout the organization to improve processes, drive efficiencies and create measurable financial returns.
  • Assist in design of innovative solutions that will enable the organization to improve financial and service delivery performance, associate and guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Assess organizational performance and determine root cause(s) of performance issues. Proactively identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of goals and objectives.
  • Maintain close relationships with Leadership Community to drive support, buy-in, and promote transparency. Works cross-functionally with business leaders and process owners to deliver improvement opportunities.
  • Provides training and Process Improvement guidance to the rest of the organisation.
  • Drive strategic data-driven decisions, adding value and contributing to team successes and clear business outcomes
  • Document lean processes, changes, and improvements meticulously & prepare and present reports on lean initiatives, efficiency gains, and cost savings to senior management. Utilize visual management tools to communicate progress and outcomes effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Formal Training/Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related field.
Master’s Degree
  • Post-graduate qualification (MBA or PhD) in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
Experience

Years of Experience Experience Details Req Pref

  • 7+ years demonstrated experience with increasing responsibility in developing and implementing successful continuous improvement programs, Six Sigma, Lean Leader, and Project Management Training required
  • Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in a regulated industry developing and implementing process improvements preferred

  • Knowledge of process improvement philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, leadership, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems, and professional ethics
  • Able to acquire and analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative and statistical methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate process analysis and improvements
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaborative problem solving within and across numerous areas of the organization
  • Demonstrated application of lean tools and techniques, such as 6S, Kaizen, Value Stream & Process Mapping, and Kanban in a manufacturing environment.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
