Job summary

Velux Deutschland GmbH seeks a procurement data specialist to govern Vendor Master Data and Material Master processes, ensuring compliance across Purchasing operations and collaborating on global projects.

You will drive process improvements, provide training, and act as the main contact for process questions, leveraging Lean principles and SAP/Ariba tools. A hybrid work setup supports work-life balance and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Vendor Master Data and/or Material Master processes.
  • Solid understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P), especially Purchasing.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba SLP and SBN.
  • Advanced Excel skills with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in international or matrix organizations.

Job description

Our Responsibilities Provide governance and support for Vendor Master Data and Material Master processes. Ensure process compliance and governance across Purchasing operations. Facilitate effective communication between the Business, Process Experts, and VELUX Operations India (VOI Procurement). Act as the first point of contact for process-related queries, providing support, guidance, and training to end users and colleagues. Support the management of deviations from standard process flows using Lean principles. Contribute to the development and standardization of purchasing processes and best practices.

Our Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Vendor Master Data and/or Material Master processes.
  • Good understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, particularly Purchasing.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba SLP and SBN.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets.
