Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of related operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough technical understanding of plant chemical processes and unit operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Six Sigma training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with operators and other groups to optimize plant operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Track performance vs target, investigate deviations and implement solutions.
• Share technical knowledge with operations staff through coaching and dialogue.
• Assist in defining and solving operating problems and support optimization of production equipment and processes.
• Monitor production quality and equipment reliability; identify problems and implement improvements.
• Participate in development of medium-term production strategies and manage process improvement projects.
