As we continue to expand our impact, we seek an experienced ASPEN Plus Engineer to join our team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled ASPEN Plus Engineer with expertise in process modeling for extractive distillation and membrane-based separation technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, scaling, and troubleshooting process models to enhance our separation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and scale ASPEN Plus and ASPEN HYSYS models for extractive distillation and membrane separation processes.
• Perform process simulations to optimize efficiency, scalability, and economic feasibility.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate modeling insights into experimental and pilot-scale operations.
• Evaluate and implement novel solvent and membrane technologies for improved separation performance.
• Conduct techno-economic analyses to support business and strategic decision-making.
• Participate in process validation and on-site commissioning activities as required.
• Document findings and present recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ASPEN Plus, ASPEN HYSYS, or similar process modeling software.
• Strong background in distillation, extractive distillation, membrane separations, and multi-phase systems.
• Experience with thermodynamic modeling, transport phenomena, and separation process design.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel for team collaboration, site visits, and technology implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
