Job summary

ProVest is expanding its network of independent contractors to serve legal documents in Lewis County, TN. This role requires Tennessee residency and the ability to handle 15–20 service attempts per day, 3–5 days per week, including Saturdays.

You will work remotely with mobile app-based reporting and occasional courthouse visits. As a Private Process Server, you will deliver foreclosure, collection, civil, and litigation notices for leading firms and financial institutions.

Overview

ProVest is one of the nation’s largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in Lewis County, TN

Applicants must reside in Tennessee, preferably near Dickson County.

About the Role:

As a Private Process Server with ProVest, you will work independently to deliver legal documents on behalf of leading law firms and financial institutions. Documents may include foreclosure, collection, civil, and litigation notices. This is a 1099 contract position with weekly pay per completed job.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
• Manage assignments using ProVest’s mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile).
• Return completed documents.
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Tennessee residency (near listed counties preferred).
• Availability 3-5 days per week, including Saturdays.
• Ability to complete 15-20 service attempts per day.
• Willingness to visit courthouses for document pickup and drop-off.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Access to a computer, printer, and scanner.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting.

Support Provided:

You will have a dedicated Tennessee liaison for support. Original case files will be mailed to you, and as a non-local server, you will not be required to report to a ProVest office in person.
