Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a motivated scientist to join the Scientific Operations team supporting manufacturing of diagnostic reagents. The role focuses on growth mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and day-to-day operations in a regulated environment.

You will execute experiments, analyze data, and troubleshoot quality issues in GMP settings, contributing to process improvements and documentation with GDP standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Sciences is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a laboratory, manufacturing or quality role in Life Sciences, biotechnology, or related industries.
• Experience working under GMP, regulated industries by FDA, or ISO 13485 is desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of data analysis and Minitab is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in a broad range of basic laboratory techniques including microbiology, aseptic techniques, spectrophotometry, and reagent formulation.
• Design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data to support feasibility and changes.
• Troubleshoots quality and process issues in manufacturing or QC labs and coordinates resolution with teams.
• Authors protocols/reports and SOPs and coordinates review/approval processes.
• Executes protocols per procedure and reports data following GDP principles.
• Conducts literature searches and collaborates with cross-functional teams to propose action plans.
• Provides technical information and training support for production or laboratory processes.
• Demonstrates Agile and self-motivation to prioritize and align with project teams.
• Plans projects with moderate complexity and executes with minimal supervision.
