Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a hands-on PSM professional to join a Midwest client’s EHS team. The primary objective is to implement the Process Safety Management program within approximately six months, after which the role will shift to a 50% PSM and 50% EHS focus.

The position reports to the Director of EHS and emphasizes compliance with PSM across all locations. Initial duties include ensuring regulatory compliance, reviewing drawings and procedures, and promoting a culture of process

Qualifications

• 3+ years of process safety experience
• Local northeast or southeast Wisconsin area candidates only at this time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the PSM program across the company, with an estimated six months to completion
• Transition to a 50% PSM and 50% EHS focus after implementation
• Ensure compliance with PSM and all local, state, and federal regulations for all locations
• Read and review mechanical and electrical drawings and procedures to champion process safety across the organization

Job description

Seeking an engaged, hands-on and collaborative PSM professional that will be a member of the corporate EHS department and will report directly to the Director of EHS. This role will complete the implementation of their PSM program for the company (approximately (6) months to completion) and then the role will transition to (50%) PSM and (50%) EHS.

• This position will ensure compliance with PSM and all local, state, and federal regulations within all locations of the company. Champion a culture of process safety excellence; organize and provide leadership concerning all (14) elements of PSM by reading, reviewing mechanical and electrical drawings and related procedures.
