Job summary

SGS Consulting in Tallahassee, FL seeks an experienced Industrial Hygienist to ensure site compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will conduct air sampling, biological monitoring, and risk assessments across pharmaceutical or chemical environments.

The role requires a CIH, hands-on EHS work experience in manufacturing, and familiarity with GMP/GLP and other regulatory frameworks. You will train staff and prepare documentation for management and regulators.

Qualifications

• CIH certification is required.
• Experience with sampling in pharmaceutical or chemical industries.
• Hands-on EHS experience in clinical or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Industrial hygiene experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative monitoring of workplace conditions including air sampling and biological monitoring.
• Identify hazards through inspections and evaluations of laboratory and pilot plant environments.
• Provide training on hazards, safe work practices, and PPE usage.
• Develop and implement control measures: engineering, administrative controls, and PPE.
• Prepare detailed reports to management and regulatory agencies.
