Job summary

ABB is hiring a Process Quality Technician to ensure product and process quality from design to delivery. You will conduct test protocols, monitor safety systems, and help improve test methods to increase efficiency and reliability of results.

You will work with operators and other teams to validate quality at source and analyze data to ensure compliance with specifications and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma (or Electronic/Electrical/Engineering Technology Certification or equivalent preferred)
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US
• Working knowledge of MS Office (PP, Word, Excel)

• Test Capability: Conducts test protocols to ensure products and systems meet requirements and customer expectations.
• Safety: Maintains an accident-free workplace with safety systems and reports unsafe conditions.

• Process Assurance: Trains operators in basic quality test routines and verifies QA testing.

Test Capability Conducts test protocols as assigned to ensure the products andsystems that are created by the local organization meetspecified requirements and customer expectations. Providessupport to other functional teams as needed to perform testsprotocols. Ensures data are available according to ABB QOguidelines.2. Safety Utilizes safety systems to perform work, resulting in anaccident-free workplace. Notifies others when unsafe situationsare observed and work with local HSE teams to improve thesafety systems.3. Quality Control Works with department staff to improve existing test protocolsand capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/orreliability of test results.4. Utilize data Evaluates quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data forthe determination of compliance with requirements.5.
