Mondelēz International in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a Process Quality Leader to ensure end-to-end manufacturing quality and food safety. You will lead a team of Food Safety & Quality Specialists, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across production lines.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce losses, develop training programs, and partner with cross-functional teams to safeguard product quality and consumer trust.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Quality/Food Safety within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma tools to address quality losses.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced computer skills; MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Food Safety & Quality Specialists/Technicians auditing the manufacturing lines to ensure Quality and Food Safety compliance during production.
  • Develop and manage department budget and track performance against targets.
  • Apply IL6S tools to drive measurable improvements in quality performance.
  • Audit & Regulatory: support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
  • Coach and mentor team members and promote a strong food safety culture.

This includes ownership of specific program elements such as traceability, specification management, HACCP, X-Ray & Metal Detection, net content, hold and release, etc. Additionally, the Process Quality Leader will partner with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and eliminate quality losses — including consumer complaints — using Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6s) tools.How you will contributeYou will ensure that all quality objectives, goals and targets in the factory (including regional and global commitments) are met. You will develop and track your department’s budget and eliminate losses. With your team, you will conduct regular plan-do-act-check assessments to plan how targets will be met, executing the plan and periodically checking and taking action to stay on track. In addition, you will ensure that there is strict adherence with all appropriate laws, food safety quality standards and consumer requirements of all manufactured products and manage crisis situations internally and externally in ways that support the company’s image, policies and business. Home office is not available.Work schedule:Normal office hours on weekdays, although flexibility in scheduling may be required to support sporadically on weekends and off-hours to connect with the core team and the Quality Specialists.Work schedule: M-F (Core Hours)Salary and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
