Job summary

Keiron USA is seeking a Process & Product Support Engineer North America to join our team in Boston, MA. You will be responsible for integration, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our advanced laser-based printing systems, with on-site client support across North America.

Travel to customer sites will be required to ensure seamless operation and high production performance. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deploy the Keiron solution, emphasizing reliability, quality,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in customer support roles.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer support operations, preferably in high-tech industries such as laser systems, electronics, or automated production.
  • Solid understanding of hardware systems and validation techniques, with hands-on testing and troubleshooting of complex hardware/software systems.
  • Familiarity with validating systems for automated production environments, ensuring process consistency, reliability, and quality.
  • Experience with SW for system control and integration, and familiarity with automation software and protocols.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide integration, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for laser-based printing systems.
  • Deliver on-site support at client facilities with travel across North America.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, reliability and quality of Keiron solutions.
  • Train customers on operating the Keiron system according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance and production efficiency and implement solutions.

Job overview

As a Process & Product Support Engineer North America at Keiron USA , you will work alongside a talented team of professionals, playing a critical role in delivering and maintaining our advanced industrial laser-based printing systems. Your responsibilities will include integration, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of these systems, ensuring their seamless operation within an automated production environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring the Keiron solution to life for our customers, ensuring our systems consistently achieve the highest standards of performance, functionality, reliability, and quality . Your expertise will be essential in delivering top-tier solutions that exceed customer expectations.

This position also involves on-site support at client facilities, with occasional travel to our customers across North America , ensuring smooth system integration and operation in their production environments.

  • Team performance: Connect with other team members then sales and service and share what is going on at customer base
  • Customer orientation: Deliver outstanding customer service by listening to and addressing customer questions and concerns, maintaining clear communication.
  • Implementation: Implement the factory integration of complex hardware, and software systems, ensuring seamless operation in a production environment.
  • Training protocols: Support the design and execute comprehensive training protocols to ensure that our users can operate the Keiron system according to technical specifications and quality standard
  • Commercial visits: Visiting customers to develop relationships and expand DMU contact moments. Conduct reviews onsite to identify where there are any service improvements required
  • Identify customer training needs for selling of Training Packages/Upselling
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance and production efficiency and implement solutions to optimize the integration and validation process.
  • Diagnose and resolve any hardware or software integration issues, ensuring the system meets production requirements and operates without disruptions.
What You’ll Bring
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or College’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical fields.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Customer Support areas.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer support operation, preferably in high-tech industries such as laser systems, electronics, or automated production.
  • Solid understanding of Hardware systems and validation techniques, with hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting complex hardware/software systems.
  • Familiarity with validating systems for automated production environments, ensuring process consistency, reliability, and quality.
  • Experience with SW for system control and integration, as well as familiarity with automation software and protocols.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
