Job summary

Hooper is seeking a Project Support role to assist in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating project preparations and execution to meet cost, quality, equipment utilization, and safety goals.

Responsibilities include assisting with estimates, procurement, subcontracts, team scheduling, and safety compliance while working with field crews and administrative staff. This on-site role offers growth within a long-standing Wisconsin contractor.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical education or completion of an apprenticeship in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; good written and verbal communication.
• Construction industry experience or internships are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project management tasks including estimates, material procurement, subcontracts and pre-bid meetings.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and supplies; liaise with union hiring halls as appropriate.
• Help establish objectives, costs, timelines, budgets, policies and safety standards; monitor adherence via site visits and reports.
• Monitor maintenance and safeguarding of equipment, tools and supplies.
• Handle administrative contract tasks (change orders, payments, rentals, billing) with staff and managers.
• Assist in project closeout and client satisfaction; file all project documentation for archives.
• Support expedited CADD/BIM work on projects.
• Perform additional assignments as requested by management.
