Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join our Arizona Division in the Phoenix metro area.

You will review blueprints, lay out piping and equipment such as clarifiers, filters and pumps, and help ensure safe, efficient installation on water and wastewater projects. This full-time role requires at least five years of field experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Install piping and equipment on water/wastewater projects.
• Commit to safety on site and monitor subcontractors.
• Monitor project labor with the Superintendent.
• Understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Lay out piping and install equipment such as clarifiers, pumps, and filtration equipment.
• Assist in safety oversight for on-site personnel and subs.
• Assist the Project Superintendent with labor monitoring.
• Understand installation processes, alignment, and anchoring.
