Job summary

gategroup is seeking a role focused on end-to-end transport process design and governance for North America. You will design, test, deploy, and govern routing, loading, dispatch, sequencing, and last-mile transport processes, while driving automation and performance analytics.

The position requires developing SOPs, training materials, and audit controls, with a focus on HSSE&Q compliance and continuous improvement across transport hubs.

Qualifications

• Experience defining end-to-end transport processes and governance.
• Ability to develop SOPs, workflows, KPIs, and audit controls.
• Familiarity with routing, dispatch, loading and return flows in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end transport process standards (routing, dispatch, loading, return flows).
• Develop SOPs, workflows, KPIs, audit controls, and standard work documents.
• Maintain transport process architecture and alignment with GPS.
• Conduct structured process testing and validation before deployment.
• Define requirements for routing engines, telematics, mobile devices, and loading tools.
• Support technology pilots and evaluate performance vs. expected benefits.
• Work with BI teams to deploy dashboards and analytics for route performance.
• Develop training materials for routing, dispatch, and loading processes.
• Conduct train-the-trainer and site-level coaching sessions.
• Maintain transport process documentation in the centralized knowledge repository.
• Define and maintain specifications for transport equipment and digital tools.
• Ensure HSSE&Q compliance and operational suitability.

Job description

Owns the end to end Transport process family for North America. Responsible for designing, standardizing, testing, deploying, and governing routing, loading, dispatch, sequencing, and last mile transport processes.

This role integrates RPO–SD responsibilities specific to Service Delivery—translated into the transport domain.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

• $90,000- $95,000/Per Year
• This position is eligible for incentive pay of 10% of the annual base salary, dependent upon successful attainment of company, team, and individual goals.

Main Responsibilities

1. Process Design & Governance

Define end‑to‑end transport process standards (routing, dispatch, loading, return flows).

Develop SOPs, workflows, KPIs, audit controls, and standard work documents.

Maintain the transport process architecture and ensure alignment with GPS.

Conduct structured process testing and validation before deployment.

2. Digital Tools & Automation

Define requirements for routing engines, telematics, mobile devices, and loading tools.

Support technology pilots and evaluate performance vs. expected benefits.

Work with BI teams to deploy dashboards and analytics for route performance.

3. Training & Knowledge Transfer

Develop training materials for routing, dispatch, and loading processes.

Conduct train‑the‑trainer and site‑level coaching sessions.

Maintain transport process documentation in the centralized knowledge repository.

4. Performance Optimization & Audits

Perform route diagnostics, error analysis, and productivity reviews.

Conduct regular transport audits and gap assessments.

Implement corrective action plans with hubs and transport leaders.

5. Equipment/Tools Governance

Define and maintain specifications for transport equipment and digital tools.

Ensure HSSE&Q compliance and operational suitability.
