gategroup in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced Transport Process Owner to lead the end-to-end transport design for North America. You will design, test, deploy, and govern routing, loading, dispatch, sequencing, and last-mile processes to improve performance.
You’ll develop SOPs, dashboards, and training materials, coordinate with GPS-aligned teams, and drive audits and corrective actions with hubs and transport leaders.

Owns the end to end Transport process family for North America. Responsible for designing, standardizing, testing, deploying, and governing routing, loading, dispatch, sequencing, and last mile transport processes.
This role integrates RPO–SD responsibilities specific to Service Delivery—translated into the transport domain.
Develop SOPs, workflows, KPIs, audit controls, and standard work documents.
Maintain the transport process architecture and ensure alignment with GPS.
Conduct structured process testing and validation before deployment.
Define requirements for routing engines, telematics, mobile devices, and loading tools.
Support technology pilots and evaluate performance vs. expected benefits.
Work with BI teams to deploy dashboards and analytics for route performance.
Develop training materials for routing, dispatch, and loading processes.
Maintain transport process documentation in the centralized knowledge repository.
Perform route diagnostics, error analysis, and productivity reviews.
Conduct regular transport audits and gap assessments.
Implement corrective action plans with hubs and transport leaders.
Define and maintain specifications for transport equipment and digital tools.
Ensure HSSE&Q compliance and operational suitability.
