Job summary

Clorox in Reno, NV, seeks a Process Improvement Technician (Blending & Process) to drive process optimization across safety, quality and efficiency. You will analyze processes, identify losses, and partner with cross‑functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.

The role requires strong data skills, knowledge of DMAIC, SOP development and staff training. Monday–Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; pay rate $37.48/hour, focused on continuous improvement in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred).
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven ability to identify root causes, solve complex problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and performance.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, and automation systems.
• Proficient in data analysis, and visualization tools.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools.
• Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage priorities, work independently, and execute with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and follow-through.
• Proficient with standard business applications (Microsoft apps) and computer systems.
• Basic math skills and flexibility to support varying schedules as needed

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME, driving Safety, Quality and OpEx improvements.
• Analyze processes to identify losses, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Daily Problem Solving, A3, DMAIC.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements.
• Use data to prioritize opportunities and drive decisions.
• Identify and implement automation to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
• Maintain process metrics and improvement records.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and process maps.
• Train and coach employees on new processes.
• Communicate process changes and gain alignment across shifts.
• Monitor changes to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
