PBC Linear designs and builds high-precision linear motion solutions. We’re adding a Process Optimization Engineer to elevate quality, throughput, and consistency across our manufacturing operations in Roscoe Township, IL.

You will lead multiple projects, diagnose bottlenecks, and roll out sustaining changes with product design, quality, and EHS teams. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and has 5+ years in manufacturing with CAD experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing setting; background in linear motion or precision parts preferred.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated innovations on the floor.
• Project management chops to balance priorities and deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with CAD and modern manufacturing systems; Lean Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple process-improvement projects in parallel to hit milestones.
• Diagnose production bottlenecks and resolve equipment or process issues to reduce downtime.
• Partner with design, quality, and EHS teams to ensure manufacturability and safety.
• Create, refine, and maintain production docs—work instructions and SOPs.
