Job summary

A-Gas Americas in Texas is seeking a Process Operator II to oversee setup, monitoring, and record-keeping of our refrigerant distillation columns, assisting the Column Supervisor to meet production targets and maintain product quality.

You'll monitor equipment, manage inventory, and uphold safety protocols while participating in a structured training program and professional development opportunities. Rotating shifts include 7AM–7PM or 7PM–7AM with quarterly changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Process Technology Degree or prior Process Operator experience.
• Excellent math skills and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Microsoft Word/Excel required.
• Experience in manufacturing or specialty gas industry.
• Understanding of engineering, warehouse, and environmental services.
• EPA 608 Certification must be obtained.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience driving ISO/Tanker containers using a Yard Hostler desired.
• Gas Chromatography available as a skill.
• Chemical blending and transferring experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the production supervisor in work assignments and tower production.
• Daily monitoring of separation towers for smooth operations.
• Report faults and maintenance needs to ensure safety and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials into the column and finished goods.
• Delegate tasks for setup, transfers, and bulk movements.
• Support health and safety culture and safe working practices.
• Ensure quality control is implemented consistently.
• Follow operational processes and inspect team activities.
• Reinforce awareness policies to keep operations running smoothly.
• Any other tasks as required.
