Job summary

A-Gas Americas is seeking a Process Operator II to oversee the setup, monitoring, and record-keeping of refrigerant distillation columns. You will assist the Column Supervisor in operating multiple separation units to meet production targets and support site growth.

The role includes rotating shifts (7AM–7PM / 7PM–7AM) and a starting pay of $29 per hour, with benefits such as health coverage, dental and vision, a 401k match, holidays, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Process Technology Degree or prior experience in a Process Operator role.
• Excellent math skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Microsoft Word/Excel required.
• Experience in manufacturing, or specialty gas industry.
• EPA 608 Certification must be obtained.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the production supervisor in work assignments, managing production of the separation towers.
• Daily monitoring of the separation towers to ensure smooth and efficient running of site operations.
• Report faults, site and maintenance issues to Maintenance to ensure site safety and product quality.
• Monitor inventory levels of material into the column for separation and finished goods product.
• Delegate tasks for setting up, tank transfers, and bulk tank moves.
• Promote Health and Safety culture to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure quality control is implemented on a constant basis.
• Follow all operational processes and perform quality checks.
