Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, a qualified individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily either with or without reasonable accommodation. The responsibilities described below are routine in nature, executed under moderate supervision, and require limited judgment.

  • Operate and monitor machines used in the production of Temptime product.
  • Perform setup, testing, and assembly of products using equipment as specified.
  • Effectively plan and utilize time and resources to meet business needs and achieve objectives.
  • Inspect product for defects, identify, and properly mark any non-conforming material in accordance with work instructions.
  • Ensure product assembly meets production requirements (both quality and quantity).
  • Properly identify and physically move raw, in-process, and finished goods materials to and from storage locations.
  • Perform material transactions in ERP for raw, in-process, and finished goods materials used in production.
  • Work with outside vendors for purchase of operating supplies.
  • Maintain inventory of operating supplies including screens, plates, and other pre-press supplies.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counting activities as directed.
  • Daily setup, operation, and cleanup of equipment operated.
  • Maintain and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain work area organization and documentation to satisfy ISO and GMP standards.
  • Maintain good communication and working relationships with all departments and effectively function within a team environment.
  • Exhibit professional etiquette that exemplifies the values of the organization.
  • Support Research and Development activities, including participation in product/process development trials, carrying out new raw material and product characterization/performance testing, and use of experimental materials.
  • Attendance at the worksite is required on a regular and ongoing basis.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Perform basic arithmetic using units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and convert measurement units to/from Imperial to Metric.
  • Read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
  • Develop and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Maintain quality and safety control standards.
  • Understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of light equipment operation (e.g., Forklift, Pallet Jack).
  • Prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • Detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret complex written and verbal information.
  • Communicate via e-mail.
  • Use computer software including word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft products preferred).
