Job summary

Aker BioMarine is seeking a Production Operator to perform the full spectrum of the production process. You will handle materials, operate equipment, monitor quality, and support safety and documentation in a fast-paced, chemical handling environment.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Process Technology and 1–3 years of relevant experience; ability to read P&IDs and batch records; and willingness to work 12-hour shifts. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • GMP/SOP and batch manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, batch records, and technical documents.
  • Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to work around chemicals (acids, bases, ethanol).
  • Forklift operation experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Operate process equipment (valves, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.).
  • Perform rounds, collect data, monitor conditions.
  • Investigate abnormal conditions or malfunctions.
  • Collect/process samples with QC collaboration.
  • Record production data and waste reporting.
  • Follow SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Complete production documents and measure materials.
  • Read and apply WO codes and batch quantities.
  • Ensure proper samples and QC conformity.
  • Operate plant equipment including distillation and filtration.
  • Monitor meters and gauges for safe operation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
