Job summary

PepsiCo in Frankfort, IN is hiring for a plant operator role. You will monitor process equipment, collect performance data, and adjust controls to keep our brands like Lay's and Doritos produced safely and efficiently.

You'll perform analytical checks, troubleshoot deviations, and carry out routine maintenance. This position requires weekend work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and being on your feet for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist with or without accommodation.
• Stand and walk for extended periods with or without accommodation.
• Climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process equipment and conditions using process control systems and related data.
• Collect plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and costs.
• Perform analytical checks and adjust control systems and equipment based on data.
• Identify root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance via troubleshooting and RCA.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, improvements and preventative tasks.
